Still Here 19146 is dedicated to helping ensure that the stories of the Across the Tracks community are not lost to time. Through our video and audio recordings, we strive to capture the voices, intonations, gestures, and reflections of the storytellers, offering a unique insight into the community's lives and culture. We aim to create a lasting legacy that will pass on to future generations.
Memoir Writing
Still Here is dedicated to helping original and longtime neighbors keep their memories alive by crafting beautiful and meaningful memoirs. Our memoir-writing volunteers will help preserve and share their life stories in the most powerful way possible.
Storytelling
Still Here immerses children in their local community by having them interview longtime Black residents about their life experiences, culture, and the changes in their community.
